Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

Nightlights are spread throughout our house as I don’t want to be confused about where I am or how to navigate if I wake up during the night!  These lights are such a part of our life that when on occasion the power goes out during the night, I am totally lost.  Psalm 119:105 reminds us that the Bible is not only a nightlight but a daylight to guide us through every day and night. 

As the inspired word of God, it not only provides direction but words of comfort and inspiration.  It is God’s “Direction Book” for life!  It is the source of all truth and within its covers, we can find answers to all life’s questions.  Don’t let reading the Bible be the last resort when troubles come, but read it regularly to avoid the trouble and heartaches we often create for ourselves.
